SET IN
The project SET IN consists of several sets of photos. Showing the beautiful things created and seen from my perspectiveThe movies I watched when I was in high school influenced me a lot, and even now one of my goals is to take pictures that look cinematic. Chinese films utilize metaphorical imagery to put the elusive and immeasurable human feelings into physical form, creating a soft melancholy. I describe my style as a description of emotion that avoids direct meaning, but to pursue atmosphere. I draw inspiration from I Use scenes to portray the emotions of the characters. It’s as if there were countless movie stories in my head, tiny supporting characters in movies with the same youthful dreams and sorrows and joys.
The color red is a thread that runs through all my work. Culturally, it tends to represent strength but also danger.Red tones bring expressions of desire, emotions that are outgoing, passionate and straightforward. The bright red fabric covering the girl's body in the bathtub, the strawberries being crushed in her hands, the red umbrella held by the running girl. I’m not sure I have a clear definition for these red parts, but they still symbolize something important to me.
