Somewhere Between

Somewhere Between is an exploration of loneliness despite being surrounded by love. This work consists of analog and digital photographs that capture subject matter such as empty signs, things left behind and forgotten. Through handwritten journal entries, I am exploring ideas of isolation paired with the desire for connection with others by using a postcard representing attachment and the transfer of thoughts from one person to another. Through this project, I am reflecting on personal experiences and how they have made me feel and respond to habits in my life. I am confronting my grief and longing for things unattainable.
