Seeking Suburbia

Seeking Suburbia is a photographic exploration of suburban landscapes with a focus on human evidence. This body of work uses formal compositions consisting of geometric shapes and color relationships. While shooting for this series of work I approach it in two ways. The first method I work in is in solitude, walking around towns and photographing, this is a meditative and intuitive process for me. The second method is more fast paced, this consists of sitting in a moving car while my significant other delivers food. Taking photographs this way allows me to rely on instinct and not hesitate to take the photograph.
