A Reminder to Myself

A Reminder to Myself is focused around the documentation of interactions with my friends and our relationships in contrast to spaces that I spend time alone within. Using the medium of photography powerfully depicts my awareness of the world around me. My process includes using an Instax Mini Polaroid camera to record what my friends and I do together like hammocking in the middle of the woods, snowboarding, or going to our favorite ice cream shop. I chose to use the Instax mini because of how candid and instantaneous it is. I wanted to document these everyday moments I spend with the people I love to help remind myself when I'm alone I have these moments to look back on.
